"One serving of Soy Curl? provides 10 grams of soy protein."
"Soy Curl are in a class by themselves, as they contain the whole bean. All Natural, no preservatives, or additives, and they contain all the fiber."
These are the best things ever. A necessity for your cupboard. Like a non-shitty TVP. Here's some discussion.
When rehydrated, this 8 oz. bag = approximately 1.5 pounds of belly filler.
Non-GMO, Grown without chemical pesticides.
Ingredients: Delicately Textured Select Soybeans.
I just tried these for the first time and I'm hooked; good thing that I ordered 3 bags! I dropped 1/2 of a bag into some homestyle noodle soup and these were a perfect chicken-style addition. The texture is similar to TVP chunks but so much better and these curls don't have the cereal-like flavor that TVP can have. Plus they're so cheap! About $2 worth of curls made enough "chicken" noodle soup for 5 servings. Megan on 13th Apr 2016
Love the chewy texture, very satisfying. They make great BBQ sandwiches. I miss a lot of the typical meals that include meat and with soy curls I'll be able to make the same meals again, only cruelty free. Jennifer on 20th Feb 2016
easy to use, easy to store (don't appear to need refrigeration until they're re-hydrated); seem to be good flavor-sponges for stocks, etc.--I like to drop them into the stock when doing some home-brew ramen instead of re-hydrating first---they soak up the flavor and keep the same texture; also a good DIY pizza topping. recommended; will buy again Unknown on 11th Jan 2015
I had these in a burrito in Portland a few months back. After doing some research I could only find them online. Your website seemed to have them for the least amount of money. I soaked them in water and cooked them up. They don't even need any seasoning. I love that they have very few ingredients as well. I will definitely be ordering more. Unknown on 21st Nov 2014
Rehydrate, salt/pepper and saute for a couple minutes in olive oil, and toss with some Frank's Red Hot. Now make me a sandwich. Marty on 25th Sep 2012
