Speaking of Research: Students Stand Up for Animal Testing

Finally, some balance. Thanks for the heads up FOX.

Pro-test in the UK is supported and funded by research orgs. So they send Holder over to the US to try to form a similar group with a different name. It's no grassroots movement or org., it's research orgs and vivisectors trying to stem the growing wave of anti-vivisection activists.

There are some pics of them with really stupid signs in the UK at "protests" (what are they protesting, really - animal abuse is legal and still happening). Things like, "SAVE THE HUMANS!" Like humans are an endangered species. Idiots.

("animal abuse is legal" meaning animal abuse in research labs and universities)

This organization gives the medical industry the opportunity to speak first. Until now, in the public realm, they've been left in a position of defending themselves against claims made by the animal rights movement. This organization will give them the opportunity to promote (and misinform people in favor of) using animals for testing without any provocation. But it's a good sign. It means the pressure is high and they're feeling it. Hopefully, it won't turn into a media opportunity for them. These fools with their absurd signs should be ignored. They don't deserve the attention they're attempting to get or the rage they're hoping to incite in animal rights activists. Otherwise, they will succeed in diverting our energy away from the real work at hand.
