So, heres our chance. Taqueria Los Gorditos (50th and SE Division) is trying out being exclusively vegan on Sundays to see how it flies. Limited hours, from noon to 3pm. But only vegan items served. Let's all get there and show them their business could thrive with a veg*n menu only. We have their vegetarian and vegan menus here if you want one. And you can call in orders now too. Yay.

PS. Hey Julie, send us a PDF so folks can download the menu, ok?

They were out of nearly everything when I went, I think I was the last person actually served before they closed early. They improvised some cheap and delish enchiladas.
I would call it a success.

we got there at 2:30 and it was closed. sad face.

Yeah, my friend and I got there maybe around 1:30 and they were out of beans! I wasn't annoyed, rather, pleasantly surprised they'd had a nice rush. Still got an awesome burrito w/ Soyrizo... and I went back the next day for another. This place rules.

this week i made it to the stand around around 12:30 and got some delicious food. sundays will be a good day to bring omni friends out to eat.. you won't have to watch them eat meat, but they won't care because the food is so ridiculously good.
