Found Cat!

We found a lost cat this morning. We're hoping she is this missing cat we saw on a flyer the other day. The woman who made the flyer is coming here later today to see if it's her cat, but we're a little skeptical since her cat has a bald spot under her chin, and this cat doesn't. But we'll see...

She looks like she's been in the elements for some time. She was starving and she had a flea collar wrapped around her midsection that was on so tight it was matted into her fur and left her with a soar area. She has no other obvious signs of physical trauma, but we're going to take her to the vet if the woman doesn't claim her. She's content and quiet right now after a good meal and taking that dumb flea collar.

So, we're thinking of Plan B in case this cat isn't hers. This is where we ask for help. We're looking for anyone who may want to adpot this cat and/or foster her. We want to try to find her a home through this blog page rather than Craigslist or taking her to the Humane Society, so please, anyone interested, please get in touch.

The cat didn't belong to the flyer person, so she'll be chillin in our storage room tonight. Anybody want to foster her pretty please? Call my cell (Chad) 503-358-5483 anytime and we'll come meet you at the store after hours if need be.

come on people. i know she looks a little rough around the edges, but she's going to the vet tomorrow, and i haven't given her a bath yet. she's a cutie and a real lover, i swear.

i'd do it in a second if i lived anywhere near portland.

I saw a flyer for a cat named "Radar" in the Hawthorne area that looks just like this cat - Is that the one you thought it was?

Check on that first, or i can e-mail you that info if you can't find that flyer.
