More bummer news. Daily Grind will be closing down in a couple of weeks. A big loss to the neighborhood. Damn it. Hopefully Pappa G's will be finding a new home for it's Vegan Hot Bar sooner rather than later.

i'm actually crying...no more bulk mexi-snax...no more organic limes (those are impossible to find sometimes!)...sigh...sniffle...the people who work there rock. no fair. but, yay food fight! i'm psyched for the new space and produce!

I will miss the bakery so much.

One of the reasons we moved to PDX.

I guess we all have to remember to support good local veg businesses whenever possible, drive a little further if need be, etc...
