Bye and Bye 

Just got back from the newest addition to Portland's vegan business community, Bye and Bye.

What is it? A super rad bar on Alberta at 10th. Good food. Good music. No smoking. Nice folks. Great art and decor. Love it. Congrats to all our pals who got it together, lots of work, but it's paid off. Everybody needs to get out there and hang out and show 'em some love. Yay Portland.

***UPDATE: the actual address is 1011 NE Alberta and the hours are 4pm-2am.

Just went there tonight for drinks. Nice space, looks good. Jukebox was just a notch too loud. Not super impressed by the menu, but my southern bbq-style "chicken" was tasty enough. I'll definitely be back since it's only a few blocks away from my house.

Yeah, the alcohol is vegan too.

About the food, it's a pretty limited menu right now and they're working out the kinks. The stuff I've had was great. Just give 'em a break for a little while and keep showing support. They're good folks.

i think the menu changes slightly after 11. asked the guys about the small menu and they said that they are mainly a bar and that they wanted a small but decent bar menu. i think that all but one guy there are all vegan.... crazy. ill be back.

Damn - you fools are picky!

This is the only place (restaurant or bar) I know of in town that is vegan-owned, vegan-run, 100% vegan food and booze.

If I hear one more complaint, I'm gonna smack you bitches up!... Unless it is preceded by a one-page positive review.

Shut up and enjoy how lucky we are. And, how how nice a job these guys did!
