My birthday party. 

So, it's my (Chad) birthday coming up on October 12th and here's what's going on. No super official details, but here's the basics. Everybody is invited.

Where: Pirate's Tavern

When: Oct 12th, probably 7 til whenever

What: Giant letter writing party for the SHAC7 defendants and birthday dinner with portion of $$$ going to the SHAC7 commisary fund.

What else: Hanging out. Shooting the shit. Everybody giving me a reach-around for my BD.

And even more what else: RSVP if you're coming so Pirtate's Tavern knows how much food to make. Send it to info@foodfightgrocery.com and we'll put you on "the list." It'd be cool if you bring paper and pen and envelope and stamp.

I'd be really happy to see everybody out there. Good cause, good food, good time. Meet some new folks. Get on a FBI watch list. Yay?!?

Hey Chad. Even though I'm a vegan and AR activist, I've decided to boycott Pirate's Tavern because of that picture of the pirate lady on their website. It's as annoying as that the Pam Anderson room in the PETA office. What, do we ALWAYS need to objectify women to get our message across?

Maybe you should give them a call and talk before going the boycott route? Maybe? Seems like a graphic lifted from a video game to me. Might it just be a poor aesthetic choice and not an intentional attempt to objectify women? I understand why this kind of thing is frustrating, but... I'm just saying open a dialogue first before deciding. chad

I miss Chad like the summers miss the rain. Alas I will be in scenic nowheresville, Olympia on the anniversary of the day he trudged forth from his mommy's womb, but you can bet your ass I'll be wishing him a happy one! If you're around you should go!
