DANG! We got the cheese in!

The cheese you've all been waiting for. Straight from the UK, where folks know their cheese. In 8 mighty flavors. For a mere $9.75. -cough-

good lord. are u doing mail orders for these? :)

So what is this stuff like? How is it similar or different from other vegan cheeses (vegan gourmet, vegan slices, etc)??

it's more of gourmet cheese-and-crackers kind of cheese. pepperidge farm style. a big chunk and pretty stinky like real cheese. a nice dry-yet-spreadable style. not the moist, gel-ishness of vegan gourmet yet much much tastier than veganrella.

I second the mail order question. I want to buy all 8! What are the expiry dates?

laissez le bon fromage vegan rouler!

cmon, whats the deal with mail order! and what is the net weight of a "chunk"?

sorry folks. we're not doing mail order for them. don't hate us!

Sorry to spoil the cheesy party but with the hydrogenated oil it's not a health food. Those who are cool with that...give it a try.

yeah, they still need to change the packaging, but there's a sticker on them saying " they're using non-hydrogenated oils in them now." yay!

Cool. Thanks for letting us know. :-)

HEALTH FOOD?

Who in the hell do you think we are?

Damn...I gotta get me another one of those Australian nougat bars....

[homer]Mmmmmm...Australian Nougat bar...[/homer]

yeah,it's not like dairy cheese is a health food either. the stuff tastes great! that's all i need to know.

Well, if it's $9.75 per pound, that's less than some varieties of dairy cheese.

(What is it really, 4 oz. or 8 oz. packages?)

It is 227 grams, which works out to about 8 oz.
