We found a sweet doggy, wanna foster her?

So, our friend Chris found a great female pitbull this morning out in the middle of Powell Blvd and 50th. Called us, he thought it'd be funny to wake us up and make us take care of her. (just kidding Chris, I know, I know, you had to go to "work", blah, blah....)

She's super sweet and friendly, no tags of course. Hanging out at our store for now. Can't bring her home since we're already dog sitting for some other friends and their dog isn't all that great with others, and we're stil not sure if she's good with other dogs (or cats), too, so...

Anybody out there interested?

We're gonna flyer around the area, and see if anyone claims her in the next couple of days. Who knows?

Will keep you posted.

I could keep her for the weekend if that would help. dnorton@crosscurrentinc.com

Have you taken her to the vet to get scanned? Some doggies have id chips in them.

I will email Coda and see if she will allow another doggy to live with us.

No chip, no tags. We just bought her a new harness, so she's ready to go for long walks. She is, as yet, untested with other animals, so...

I wish that I could take her, she looks like a cutie.
I will ask around and see if anyone is intrested.

HEY! I know something! There are lost pitbull signs at 39th and Gladstone for that doggy, they lost her around 60th and Powell! I hope that's the right girl, she's adorable.

"It"?!?

dang! sorry. her.

Amusingly enough... today is Take Your Dog to Work Day. :) I brought my lil buddy. Seems the gods found an extra one for you folk.

I don't want to be a jerk but jesus, they should only get their dog back if they agree to tag/microchip her. There's not a good excuse for that!

Although a lot of people who "own" pit bulls don't treat them well, it is possible for tags/collar to come off. The people could be good companions who are do deserve to get their companon animals back. And, despite the possibility of collars coming off I still don't think I'd have an animal chipped, I know it may be for their saftey but isn't it creepy? Doesn't it strike anyone as a test run for people? "Micro-chip your baby! Your children will always be safe!"

mmmmm. I see chad's leg. It's purty. I love you. Steve

I didn't mean literally they shouldn't get the animal back - although that's what it sounds like. It's an expression of frustration that so many dogs run around without ID. I do think dogs and cats should get microchipped though. The slippery slope argument for people doesn't hold for me. A dog can't tell you where their home is.
