Let Live. Tonight! 

It's finally here...

Please please go. You might not realize how important this is. For SHAC7 and all of us. This trial is the beginning of the end of free speech in this country.

The benefit will be held from 8pm until midnight at the studio of Merrimac furniture designers (1216 SE Division). Bidding will be between 8 and 10:00pm.

There will be a raffle of lots of good stuff. Great art. Food, beverages. Music.

Come early to hear Josh Harper and Kevin Kjonas, two of the defendants facing federal charges, who will speak about their efforts and the trial. You need to hear what they say.

All money goes to the defendants of the trial. It's the least you can do for these brave people who are doing this for animals and for us.

How many times do we have to tell you?!

there were multiple emiko works? i only saw one.... i got outbid by 1 dollar... in the last minute of bidding... what kind of price is right/eBay bullshit is that? i shoulda pulled the slip and put another dollar on.... 142 dollars biatch....

This was probably the only time I didn't mind being outbid, since I could tell myself more money was going towards those brave individuals. I walked away with the stylin' T-rex bag and the "BEER" print as a present for my fat alcoholic boyfriend. I heart you guys.

hahaha awww thats not what i meant at all! all fundraising aside i just hate snipers like that.the speeches they made were incredible, i wish there was more i could do, but it seems like right now what they need the most is money for their legal defense.... I'd give them anything... but thats the one thing i dont have. i just wish there was let live part 2 so i could somehow do more.

I can't believe how many people showed up! Awesome. We had fun playing records. My best moment was when a baby was rocking to Gang of Four. I rocked a baby. I took home the Elvis Costello poster and can't wait to hang that puppy up!

Hey Virginia, I'm so glad you won the Elvis Costello poster. I'm sorry I bid on it. I didn't realize you were bidding on it, too. But it couldn't have gone to people that deserved it more than you guys. I heard that the guy who designed the poster used at least one aspect of every Elvis Costello album cover (including singles) in the poster, so you should study it, and see if you can find them all.
