as a vegan cyclist/bicycle advocate and educator, i agree with the idea behind this post and the article. it isn't altogether true, though. i highly recommend y'all read against the grain: how agriculture is hijacking civilization by richard manning. unless you're getting your veggies and soy products locally, you're still wreaking havoc on the environment, and using petroleum.
